So I went with my uncle on Sunday March 14th and attended my first pigeon club meeting. During this meeting I was officially voted in as a member and am now on my road to becoming a pigeon racer.
I don’t have a loft yet but I am working on the design so it appeals to my wife and neighbours and looks attractive in my yard. I do have to work out the placement of the loft still. I am also interested in having a nice sized aviary attached to it.
I really want to make sure that when the pigeons are ready to come live in their new loft that they will be comfortable and healthy. I still have a lot to learn so it’s important I don’t hurt any of these birds in the process. I am looking to start with 12 birds and see how it goes.
