I spent about a week in a remote fly in community in Labrador. This place was extremely remote and was centered in the middle of a valley surrounded by snow covered hills. Every time I go to places like this I always wish I could have my wife with me so she can see what I’m seeing. Natuashish is the kind of place that has snow almost all year round. I also landed at the airport that is one of only a handful that can manage the landing of the space shuttle. During the September 11 plane hijackings in the United States many of the planes that were not allowed to land were directed to this airport as it is small but can has the runway to be able to manage this. Was pretty cool to see and once again, got in a tiny little plane with a wooden floor and headed north!
